The Administrative Control and Transparency Authority promotes bilateral relations with the Republic of Austria in areas of integrity, transparency and anti-corruption

H.E Hamad bin Nasser Al Misnad, President of the Administrative Control and Transparency Authority (ACTA), met with H.E Karin Fichtinger-Grohe, Ambassador of the Republic of Austria to the State of Qatar, where H.E expressed his sincere congratulations on her appointment as Ambassador of the Republic of Austria to the State.

During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Austria and their importance in promoting integrity, transparency and anti-corruption. H.E also expressed his wishes for all to achieve good results in the Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI), which will be issued at the end of January 2021.

In conclusion, H.E President of ACTA stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation areas between the two countries in the field of integrity and transparency, pointing to the strength of the relationship between the two countries, strengthening the areas of cooperation in the issue of integrity and transparency and getting acquainted with the Austrian experience, especially since the Republic of Austria has a pioneering experience in the field of anti-corruption. H.E also welcomed any cooperation regarding any initiatives from the Austrian side in this field.
